It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful Father’s Day weekend. We’re looking forward to the annual downtown Hyannis Vintage Auto Show tomorrow. Here’s a picture of me from a couple of shows ago with Wayne from “Chasing Classic Cars.”
Poppies are so dramatic when they bloom, shown here from a few days ago. They are one of our favorite perennials. It’s supposed to be a beautiful weekend here on Cape Cod. I hope your weather is the same as here!
I picked about two pints of strawberries today from our front yard. That’s just the start. There’s probably a dozen more pints to pick once they’re all ripe. Tomorrow I’ll be making a strawberry rhubarb pie.
This is Agnes, our very first lingerie model. When we began, we had mostly friends and family modeling our vintage clothing. As we added lingerie, well, as you can imagine, modeling underwear is a whole different story. So along came Agnes – Agnes is the mannequin shown here – not me. We still use Agnes from time to time, usually when we need something modeled in a hurry and a model isn’t available, and when it’s not something I’m keen on modeling. BTW, the only reason I’m nude here is because I was between changes when we decided to get these Mary Green undies taken. Of the dozens of vendors we’ve had over the years, Mary Green products were my favorites. I love silk! It’s a shame that they went out of business. They made such beautiful and soft lingerie. We still have this type of brief in stock. These particular ones are actually cotton, not silk. But we still have some silk undies remaining. We’ll likely bundle them together and put them on Ebay at some point.
