All I can think of when I see this dress is Anita Loos. Hot pink, accordion-pleated ruffles cascading top to bottom, deeper pink velvet ribbon straps adorned with strips of rhinestones, it is the quintessential Jazz Age dress — and what’s so cool about it is that I believe it was upcycled — it may have been a nightie at one time but the artiste created the straps from ribbon and rhinestones and voila! To be worn with a cloche or floral pin in the hair, a long strand of pearls, shimmery stockings and strappy ivory heels. Oh, and must not forget the matte red Chanel lipstick.
Most likely gentle lingerie wash or preferably hand wash, as fabric appears to be a nylon blend.
